Special Education Parent Advisory Committee

 

SEPAC is a parent driven organization which works with the district and families to improve educational outcomes for students with learning challenges or differences.
Mission Statement

A group that consists of special education school personnel and parents of children with an Individual Education Plan or 504.  The group provides an avenue of communication and a way to collaborate and brainstorm ideas and share information to improve the special education programs in Tewksbury schools. It aims to increase peer awareness and sensitivity towards children with learning  differences, encouraging tolerance, acceptance and inclusion.  The group continually review procedures pertaining to the delivery of special education programs in order to identify any opportunities for improvement.
