Special Education Parent Advisory Committee


SEPAC is a parent driven organization which works with the district and families to improve educational outcomes for students with learning challenges or differences.
Mission Statement

Serve as a liaison among the administration, CST, teachers and parents of children with an Individual Education Plan, providing an avenue of communication to meet the educational needs of students in a supportive and positive manner.

Understand parents’ concerns and raise these with the CST in the hopes of collectively addressing them.

Increase peer awareness and sensitivity towards children with learning differences, encouraging tolerance and acceptance.

Continually review CST procedures pertaining to the delivery of special education programs in order to identify any opportunities for improvement, including all stakeholders: CST, parents and general education administration.
