Welcome to Tewksbury Elementary school. This year our school was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the United States Department of Education. Approximately only 1% of the schools in the nation received this prestigious award. In addition only four schools in Hunterdon County were awarded this recognition since the Blue Ribbon Award Program began in 1982. As a Blue Ribbon School we are excited to provide our parents,students and community with a new and expanded website. This page has been created to assist everyone in learning more about our school,including programs, staff, values and accomplishments which we feel are the essence of TES. To both inform our school community and encourage continued involvement we plan on providing information on weekly and upcoming activities so we suggest regular visits to our website be an ongoing practice. Since our website is designed to both enhance communication and provide our school community with a variety of information regarding our school it is important that what is included is of value to our readers.
